CLOSEST TO THE PIN CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION
- The Closest to the Pin Challenge is open to all participants who purchase an entry.
- Each entry grants the participant one (1) shot unless part of a bundle or promotional offer.
- Participants must follow all instructions provided by Back On Par staff.
2. TEEING AREA
- All shots must be taken from the designated teeing area.
- Shots taken from outside the designated area will be disqualified.
- The teeing area may be adjusted at the discretion of event staff.
3. VALID SHOT REQUIREMENTS
To qualify as a valid attempt:
- The ball must be struck cleanly with a golf club from the teeing area
- The ball must land and come to rest on the putting green
- Shots that land off the green, even if close, do not qualify
- Balls that roll onto the green from outside the green are allowed only if they come to rest on the green surface
4. MEASUREMENT
- Distance will be measured from the edge of the hole to the nearest edge of the ball
- Measurements will be recorded by Back On Par staff using a tape measure or other approved method
- All measurements recorded by staff are considered official and final
5. RECORDING SCORES
- Qualifying shots will be recorded with:
- Participant name
- Measured distance
- Participants are responsible for ensuring their name is correctly recorded at the time of play
6. WINNER DETERMINATION
- The participant with the shortest measured distance at the conclusion of the event will be declared the winner
- In the event of a tie:
- The first recorded shot with that distance will be considered the winner unless otherwise determined by staff
7. DISQUALIFICATION
A shot may be disqualified if:
- It is taken from outside the designated tee area
- It does not come to rest on the green
- It is deemed unsafe or in violation of event rules
- The participant fails to follow staff instructions
8. STAFF AUTHORITY
- Back On Par staff will monitor all attempts and measurements
- All decisions regarding:
- Validity of shots
- Measurements
- Rule interpretation are final and binding
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Participants assume all risk associated with participation
- No refunds will be issued once a shot has been taken
- Back On Par reserves the right to modify rules for safety or operational reasons
HOLE-IN-ONE CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

- The Hole-in-One Challenge is open to all participants who purchase an entry
- Each entry grants one (1) shot, unless part of a bundle or promotional offer
- Participants must follow all instructions provided by Back On Par staff
2. TEEING AREA
- All shots must be taken from the designated teeing area
- Shots taken from outside this area will be disqualified
- The teeing location may be adjusted by staff for safety or gameplay reasons
3. VALID HOLE-IN-ONE REQUIREMENTS
To be considered a valid hole-in-one:
- The ball must be struck from the designated teeing area
- The ball must enter the hole on the initial shot only
- The shot must be clearly and directly witnessed by a designated Back On Par staff member or representative
- The ball must come to rest inside the hole
4. WITNESS REQUIREMENT
- A Back On Par staff member or designated representative must:
- Observe the shot from tee to hole
- Confirm the ball entered the hole without assistance
- Any shot not directly witnessed will not qualify, regardless of circumstances
5. INTERFERENCE & DEFLECTIONS
- Shots that are affected by outside interference may be disqualified, including:
- Contact with spectators, equipment, or unauthorized objects
- Natural course elements (e.g., ground, slope) are acceptable
- Final determination of interference is at the discretion of staff
6. DISQUALIFICATION
A shot may be disqualified if:
- It is not witnessed by staff
- It is taken from outside the designated tee area
- The participant violates safety rules or staff instructions
- There is uncertainty regarding the ball entering the hole
7. PRIZE ELIGIBILITY
- A participant must meet all requirements outlined above to be eligible for any advertised prize
- Prizes are:
- Non-transferable
- Subject to availability
- Back On Par reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value if necessary
8. STAFF AUTHORITY
- Back On Par staff are responsible for:
- Verifying all attempts
- Confirming hole-in-one results
- Interpreting and enforcing rules
- All decisions made by staff are final and binding
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Participants assume all risk associated with participation
- No refunds will be issued once a shot has been taken
- Back On Par reserves the right to modify rules for safety, fairness, or operational needs
